Hear Ye! Hear Ye!!! Cream Talk by Stallion - Week 6

Happy Sunday Six Packers!!! It's official. I got a message from Saddam Hussein's representative that the former leader of Irag is freezing his tail off in the true land down under, because Vanderbilt is now 5-0 and will be ranked in the top 15 this week. Is it not absolutely strange to think that either LSU or Alabama could be playing Vanderbilt for the SEC championship. Of course, the Stallion's crystal ball knows its highly unlikely and that UGA and UF have a huge say in this, but it's still fun to mention while the "iron is hot." This performance by the 'Dores should put an end to nerd persecution once and for all. As the Stallion's beloved Tiiigaaahhhs were off this weekend preparing for the mighty Gators next weekend, it gave me some time to reflect about the 'Dores latest turn of events and other SEC teams' performances over the weekend. Does it absolutely shock other SEC fans that Vandy was NOT the last team in the SEC to get ESPN College Game Day at their campus? After all, that's a sign that your program is progressing well and is on the way to great success. Another detail that I observed is that the Kentucky Wildcat team plays with a lot of heart for their coach. They believe they can win against any SEC team. And I also observed that no SEC team can enjoy a previous week's strong performance or you could lose, (thinking of Bama, Auburn, and Ole Miss for the near-miss or actual losses that they endured over this weekend). After all this is th e S E C, the best conference in the country. And now for the Week 6 rankings

1) LSU - Bring on the Urban Legend and Tebeaux. The Tigers have had time to heal some much needed injuries on the D-Line and LBs and should be ready to go against the Gators.
 2) Alabama - Last week the Stallion took some heat for not moving the Tide to No. 1. With all big wins, come huge letdowns. LSU's was last week and the Tide's was this week. Alabama's offense had a season's best performance against Georgia last week and it will be hard to duplicate that aGAIN this season. The Kentucky game was not a surprise.
3) Florida - A very uninspiring performance by the Gators after it's two predecessors, Alabama and Texas rolled the Razorbacks. Maybe they were holding their cards close to their chest as that Damn Strong Team from Baton Rouge is coming to town.
4) Georgia - A much needed off-week after the Tide thumping will help the Dawgs refocus.
5) Vanderbilt- This is not a misprint. Vandy is in the top 5 of the Cream Rankings.
6) Kentucky - If the Wildcats can streamline their offense, they could be a very dangerous team in the east. With a lot of SEC football left on the schedule, they still have a long road ahead of them.
7) South Carolina- Just when you think the Ole Ball Coach is down and out - he coached well, he instructed well, he motivated well…just tell him not to serve "gator meat, or gamecock, or whatever the hell he eats."
8) Ole Miss - The Rebs are like their coach, hot and cold. Hot when there is a steamy love affair, and cold when you tell your old school in Arkansas to "take this job and shove it".
9) Auburn - Two SEC losses and a gift from Tennessee two weeks ago has convinced the Stallion that Auburn's offense is in need of some serious fine tuning if they want to make a bowl game. This doesn't even include the offensive explosion they had in Starkville. Hence, the drop in the rankings.
10) Tennessee- Are you kidding me???? Is Northern Illinois really that tough?.
11) Miss. St. - Nice Saturday planned for Sylvester the Tank…Bed Bath and Beyond and then maybe Home Depot…I'm not sure if Croom will have enough time. Okay he will just do one keg stand, because it tastes so good when it hits the walrus's lips.
 12) Arkansas - Why risk carpal tunnel typing anything relevant about the Hogs. They bite. Hot Boudin Award - Vanderbilt and Coach Bobby Johnson are living on Cloud Nine. I know ESPN said that Bobby Johnson looks like Steve Martin, but if you ever go take a look at Mattress Mack - CEO/President of Gallery Furniture, you will see an even scarier resemblance. http://www.galleryfurniture.com/macks_specials.aspx Cold Couscous Award -Your beloved Ole Miss Rebels - Hotty Toddy Gosh Almighty who the hell are we, hey flim flam bim bam, we overlooked Carolina by damn. and let me go ahead and fix your rankings, aGAIN, for the rest of the year...

Go Colts by the way.

time to evolve and gel. The cream will always rise to the top. I agree six weeks is a long time, but would you not put Vandy above the 6 teams below them?

What's the chances of LSU breaking into no.1 this weekend with possible upsets coming out of games between....

#1 Oklahoma vs. #5 Texas
#3 Missouri vs. #17 Oklahoma State

I still think LSU is the best team in the country but if Florida proves me wrong this weekend I want to see LSU get the cold causcous award.

Big 12 brethren. If both upsets occur, I would presume Bama gets the nod by the media. Those polls don't matter. All that matters is Cream...right?

well big12 country folk are all the buzz about this mizzou offense. averaging over 50 a game is nuts. i don't know how high that average would be if they were in the SEC but i must say they are impressive.

also it was pretty funny to see the Kansas State flag being pulled from the front porch of my neighbors' house at halftime on Saturday. ol boy was doing some heavy boozin after the game next to his grill.

I think I'd still stick Georgia above Florida right now. I'm not sold on the Gators yet. I think they are are a little soft in their OL and DL, but we'll see this weekend. Of course, you can make the argument of Bama at #1, but I know that's not going to happen in the Cream anytime soon.
