Hear Ye! Hear Ye!!! Cream Talk by Stallion - Week 9

Good November to the Pack: Hope all of you had a great Halloween weekend. I want to applaud all cities that realize that Trick or Treating and Halloween parties should be moved onto a night when it's not a heavy football weekend. That is ingenious. Unfortunately my neighborhood did not abide. The Stallion and the rest of the family contemplated on how to dress up for this event. The obvious choice was to be a Stallion, the wife a filly, and the son a pony. But that would reveal my identity to the millions that read the pack, so we went to the slightly un-stallion like approach - the Wizard of Oz. And yes, the Stallion drew the short straw and was the Wicked Man-witch of the West. Of course when I spoke with Dawgstudent about this, he thought I was a sandwich. For those that know The Godfather, that shouldn't be a surprise. So while the witch-stallion was out trick or treating and boozing it away, he was missing some epic football outcomes. First and foremost, the Stallion wants to congratulate the pack for the big Bulldog win this weekend over the Soggy Bluegrass Mountain boys. Again the Stallion wants to congratulate you for the Ole Hype loss to Auburn. It should have made a great weekend for the Pack fans. Of also much enjoyment to the Stallion was to learn that the sorry sack of scum known as USC had it handed to them by the liberal junkies in Oregon. This will have huge implications on the BCS outcome, but I am so glad to know that USC can't win with the national championship potentially on the line. This week, the Stallion will be focusing on the huge game in Tuscaloosa to most likely decide the West champion - the cream of the west. I hope to be waking up next Sunday with a purple and gold horizon. There is a huge gap in the rankings between 3 and 4 seed at this point. And now for the Week 9 Cream Rankings:

1) Alabama - Someone told me Terrance Cody went as himself and traumatized a whole neighborhood worth of kids for Halloween.

2) Florida - Counting down the days to see the end of the man love romance between Urban and Timmy.

3) LSU - The scrimmage against Tulane was hopefully a good preparation for Satan's boys next Saturday

4) Tennessee - Could Kiffen's boys be turning the corner? The Stallion's preseason prediction of Tennessee being the surprise team in the league doesn't appear to be far off. Not that being No. 4 in the cream rankings is as special as in previous years.

5) Auburn - SEC's version of Jeckyll and Hyde this year. Thank God the good Auburn team showed up last Saturday.

6) Ole Hype - There once was a Nutt from Oxford who builds up his team with the rest of the America. Only to be shot down like a mallard on opening day of duck season. Oh how the once over-hype Rebels have fallen.

7) South Carolina - Tee times are awaiting for good in the land of the Ole Ball Coach.

8)) Arkansas - Still a very scary team in the eyes of the Stallion.

9) Georgia - Chalk this one up as a rebuilding year.

10) Miss. State - Anthony Dixon is the One Man Wrecking Crew.

11) Kentucky - Where every year is a rebuilding year

12) Vanderbilt - I wonder what Vandy's record would be if the game was really only a half. Hot Boudin - Tennessee - Huge win for the Vols to edge out the Miss. State Bullies this week for the Hot Boudin award. Just when you think South Carolina may be improving they run into a juggernaut known as the Kiffin Express. Cold Couscous - Ole Miss - Hotty Toddy gosh almighty, who the hell are they, flim flam bim bam completely overrated by damn. The Jarrett Lee Award sponsored by the GM Government Bailout Program. = Open for the true football fans for Halloween weekend. No candidates seen by the Stallion. Love, Stallion

when the team I saw Ole Miss put on the field yesterday is better than half our league. To borrow a term used by jackbaddawg to describe MSU football in the past "they looked like a bunch of monkeys 17ing a football". If they were to lose McCluster the next game they may not win another game or if he stays healthy and the planets line up they could win the rest. Let`s play the games and see !

I think I would have the following changes in the rankings....

6) Georgia (they beat USC)
7) South Carolina (they beat Ole Miss)
8) Ole Miss (they beat Arkansas)
9) Arkansas

As bad as Georgia has looked in their 4 losses, they're really only losing to teams that are just better than them...

I was thinking about that but UGA really has fallen off and is not playing well. I don't think Georgia is very good at all, but maybe I didn't give them enough credit. I want to see how the next couple of week's play out before making that switch.

SEC is still by far the best conference in the country. Big 12 has one team. Big 10 sux. PAC-10 is average except Oregon. ACC sux

one or possibly two spots in your poll......You and your Tigers know we AIN"T that bad..........Not bad at all.......A break here or there and we're in the top half of this league easily.......Eventhough maybe we didn't capitalize on some of those chances, we still aren't one of the three worst teams in this league right now.......I think your poll is based solely on record.......

Why you can never give MState any credit is beyond me. We've been toe to toe with every opponent we've played this year and realistically should be 6-3 right now. Shoulda coulda woulda, I know, but there's no doubt in my mind, if we played UGA right now, we'd wear their asses out.

But the line is between 2 and 3, not 3 and 4.

Ole Miss is ranked way too high. The are 2-3 in the conference with Tennessee, LSU, and @MSU left to play. The best they are going to come out is 3-5. But I see us beating them to put them at 2-6.

This is the perception, but it really isn't true. I can think of tons of teams in every conference that would finish ahead of our 3rd best team.

They are improving and are 7-1 and clearly head and shoulders above the pack with the exception of Bama and Florida.

I haven't been that impressed with LSU. You've looked pretty good the past couple of weeks, but ya'll should've lost to us, could've easily lost to Georgia, and really only impressed me with the win over Auburn. Maybe ya'll will change my mind when you play Bama, but as of now, I can see LSU dropping 3 of their last 4. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, I just wouldn't be surprised.

how the teams are actually playing, not what the talking heads around the country are saying. We will never get the respect the UGA's, UT's and AU's do, but if you look at our body of work and how we've played - week in, week out - I'd say we're right around the 5,6,7 spot in the SEC right now. If we played Auburn again, we beat them - home or away. Hell, we were a gnat's *** from beating LSU (and I think Dixon actually got in on one of those plays), yet you have y'all 7 spots ahead State? We played UF as close as y'all did too. South Carolina is getting worse as the season goes along, we're getting better. UGA - no doubt in my mind we beat them right now, especially if the game is in Starkville. Arkansas will more than likely beat us because for some reason, we just can't win in the state of Arkansas. If we play them in Starkville, we win - period. Right now, I think we're playing better than OM too. They may beat us, but I like our chances a helluva lot more than I did coming into the season.

You're just biased against MSU for some reason. I don't know if it's because your cousins or whoever are State fans and you just can't ever give us any credit because of that, but your whole cream theory is a bunch of ******** if you have us at 10 right now. We are considerably improved from last year, have one of the top 10 rushing attacks in the country, a bend-but-don't-break defense and a coach who knows how to make adjustments during a game. State fans are really starting to believe we actually have a shot to win any game we play. It's been 10 years since we could say that. So, you go poll all of your SEC brethern and ask them what we should be ranked in your Cream Rankings, because obviously the product that's being put on the field each week apparently doesn't matter.

The cream theory is a prediction of how teams will finish at the end of the season. For example, if a team is 4-0 in the SEC, but if facing a road games against better teams and is expected to lose those games, then that team wouldn't be ranked high in the cream poll even though they may be ranked high in regular polls for being 4-0 in the SEC.

are better than the dogs.....Another thing, what about TN.......You've got them ranked 4th in the league.......Is this because they played Bama tough and played UF toughh? Heck, we gave UF all they wanted and I'll bet you we'll do the same w/Bama.......That's not even mentioning the dogs scaring the **** out of your Tigah's and highly ranked GT and UH.....According to the latest ratings we currently have played the 4th toughest schedule in the country......Factor in the last teams left and it is THE toughest schedule in the nation.......Oh yeah, TN has only won 4 games themselves....If this were college basketball (and it isn't) our RPI would be higher than several of the teams you have ahead of us......

He cannot, and will NEVER, give State credt simply because of his cousins. He can't allow his superiority complex to become muted in the slightest. I've argued for years that his "rules" change week to week to fit his bias and not offer an intellectual assessment of the league.

how can you have OM at 6 & S. Carolina at 7? Except for the I-AA team OM plays next week, neither of these 2 teams may win another game - based on this week's performances. Based on how we've played, I think we've got a shot at winning 2 of the last 3. This Cream Rankings ******** is just that, ********.

from #1 to #12. Then do the same with the SEC. I think the SEC wins 7 of 12 games with either league. We could do the same with Big 11 or Pac 10 and I think the SEC would win more than they lose.

I complained about that too. Now that LSU is near the top with their superbowl coming next week, I think Stallion is mailing it in.
