Well that is certainly one way to look at it. It's important to get all angles of the discussion, even those as detached from reality as this article.
Not sure what you mean "detached from reality." One of the things that we do know, is that Flynn's name was unmasked in clear violation of law with a felony offense punishable up to 10 years in prison. It was leaked to at least 2 news agencies, the NY Times and the Wash Post. There are a relatively small number of people with access to this raw intelligence (normally, the surveilling party (e.g. FBI, NSA) redacts the names of American citizens caught up in the surveillance. Clearly, that was not done in this case. Comey confirmed the FBI has about 100 people that can unmask an American, the NSA, CIA, and DOJ has less people involved. Gowdy confirmed with Comey that several Obama administration officials had access to this unmasked information including Susan Rice, James Clapper, Loretta Lynch, the acting AG after Lynch left, Sally Yates, and John Brennan. Comey did not know if Ben Rhodes had access.
The NY times hinted at a transcript of the conversation so it could be the entire transcript of that conversation was leaked. Comey would not answer if Obama had been briefed on this matter.
I believe it is very relevant and whoever leaked this should go to prison. I also believe the FBI should thoroughly investigate any potential collaboration with the Russian and the Trump campaign, the nature of it and if laws were broken. They should also thoroughly investigate any surveillance of any Trump servers, not located in Trump Tower as has been reported or any surveillance that "caught up" the Trump Tower because conversations were taking place in the Tower.
Flynn's conversation was apparently a nothing burger since neither the NY Times or Wash Post, who had the transcripts, did not demonstrate collusion or even improper discussions. So, the leak is the real crime unmasked thus far. There may be more, but the leak is the only one we are aware of thus far.

So you are more focused on the leak rather than the fact that there was a key man in the Trump camp working for a Muslim country and talking to the Russians while taking top secret briefings........ Trump could kill a man and you would spin some story to justify it. Guys like Flynn and David Petraeus should never see the light of day in my opinion.

I am simply reporting what Comey testified to. We have ZERO idea if anyone from the Trump campaign coordinated with the Russians. Until that is proven, all people are innocent. What we do know, for certain, as Comey admitted, the leaks of an unmasked American, was ILLEGAL. Punishable by 10 years in prison. Speculate all you want, I prefer to deal in facts.
And Flynn and Petraeus have done far more good for this country than you will ever do. Go fight some of our enemies in battle like they have. Put your life on the line. They you can talk.

What laws did Flynn break? Patreaus did violate the law, just like Hillary, but he was punished. Given what Patraeus has done for this country, and the fact he was punished, I stand by my claim that both have done far, far more than you.

Punished....Eventually, Petraeus pled guilty to one misdemeanor charge of mishandling classified information. Flynn likely won't face charges of violating the Logan Act. (maybe other laws but nobody seems to care) That is how you roll Pax. You spin everything to your view of right and wrong. I am critical of a both a Dem and a Republican. And I am very much pro-military too.

Logan Act, are you kidding me? Comey said Hillary was not subject to indictment since he could not find others who were convicted of what she did. Even if the Logan Act would be used, how do you know Flynn violated it? You have ZERO idea. And the NY Times and Wash Post, who had transcripts of the conversation haven't even gone that far. There was noting inappropriate for Flynn to have this conversation with the Russian Ambassador. It happens all the time with new administrations.
