There were some pretty good games. My son went and said that the Omaha South/Overland (CO) game was like watching a college game. He said there were about 8 dunks in the game. He also watched Winnebago and Gothenburg which came down to the buzzer. Aurora/Bishop Neuman also went to OT.

Here are some tweets from the event.

Future Husker Aguek Arop:

TE target Austin Allen:

Game winner by Winnebago:

Another impressive warmup dunk by South:

De'Ron Davis, the best player in Colorado, plays for Overland. Unfortunately he's committed to play for Dwight Schrute's Hoosiers.

South could not have played any worse than they played during the first 15 mins. After that they played really well. Would gladly watch and enjoy a rematch.

I believe Wingett will end up at USD or South Dakota State. He's 6'7 with D1 hops and ball skills.
Wingett should play with Omaha and Darin Hansen. Uptempo, full court basketball. Hansen doesn't over coach either.

FWIW, Miles has requested that every game tape be sent to the University but to my knowledge has not been to a game, but I'm not 100% on him attending one of his games.

Also guessing that Miles has a lot of tape sent to him on a lot of players but thought it was pretty cool that a local was being looked at.

I like Wingett, but we have better prospects at his position (Roby and Arop) coming in, so we don't really have a need for him.
