Tied at 3 going to the 7th. Hope the Gators can pull it out. I was a little torn as to who I wanted to take the series between LSU and Bama this weekend, but it would probably be best if LSU would lose as many as possible to get them out of our hair for that last spot at Hoover. At this point, I would say to heck with trying to come out on top in the west and just keep 4 teams behind us in the overall standings. Even though we are only 2 back.

LSU is our friend for this weekend. In a perfect world, we would sweep UT and LSU would sweep. That would put us ahead of Alabama and LSU would still be behind us.

Of course, keep pulling for Florida, pull for Georgia over Auburn, and pull for South Carolina over Ole Miss.

perfect world, and that's what worries me. You are right, though, that would be as sweet as it gets for this weekend. We have all watched too much MSU sports to believe that will happen, however. SC sure could help our cause. Arkansas has a tough final 3 weekends. UF, SC and UM.

overtaking either OM or Auburn so those are the 2 we need to watch closely. Therefore I would be fine with Bama beating LSU to keep them at bay and I'm not overly concerned about what FL and Arkansas do. We had our chance with Bama and Arkansas and blew games to both so they are likely out of reach. However we have the tiebreaker over Auburn and we still have OM ahead of us.

More than anything, we need Auburn and Ole Miss to lose and we need LSU to keep losing as well. Bama and Arkansas are more than likely out of reach. We do not need LSU to win this weekend because they will in all likelihood take at least 2/3 from Tennessee next weekend.
