I'm considering taking the points and over 131.5.

I might even bet $1 on us to win straight up getting 50:1 odds. :)

The other ACC spreads:

ND +5.5 vs Vandy
Louisville +4.5 vs Michigan
dook +8.5 vs LSU
Virginia +9.5 vs TCU

dook lost to LSU by 16 early in the season in Cameron, to bottom out at 3-6, but then went 23-2 the rest of the season.

In all fairness, do not foresee any of the ACC remaining women teams advancing to the elite 8, but stranger things have happened. My hope is that the ACC teams can keep the games close and not get blown out. It's a tribute to have 5 teams in the sweet sixteen, it's only going to get better going forward.

I think so too. I think people forgot when we played SC in the sweet sixteen two or three years ago, the odds makers had them blowing us out as well when DK, AU, KTW, and company were playing. As it turn out, UNC was the only team to play them close throughout the tournament, everyone else including the teams who play them in the final four and in the championship game got blown out. I do not think UCONN will beat us by 27. I think they may beat us by 20 or less; however, they could have a bad game and would could win. Go Heels!

The only way to win this game will be to shoot 50% or higher from the 3 point area, and 80 FT%. In addition to wishing that UCONN has a scoring drought, or Fudd or Strong gets into foul trouble.

You must have forgot when SC and NC met in round of 32 two years ago and South Carolina beat them by 47 points. That was DK, Teonni, Anya, and others final game before transferring out. I don't how this game will turn out but it could be like the ones they had against Texas and UCLA. Carolina hung around for 2 and half quarters until the other team built a 18 to 24 point lead.

That was the year we were 8/9 and played at Columbia with no guards. Different year than we were at Greensboro and down by 2 with like 2 minutes left.

but yes, UCONN is really, really good. Could hang around 3Q and who knows what happens. They could also shoot 70% again and win by 40 liek they’ve done in 2/3 games this year.
