Carolina was a three to four win team regardless of who they hired because they have sub G5 talent at best. Only reason this Jordan situation is even talked about is due to the age gap, coaches have had their significant others on the field before and after games in the past. Now if Bill can’t pull some talent to improve the team next year then they should go ahead and start looking for their next guy

At this point, NIL money is the only lifeline, but even then, they’ll be competing against programs with deeper pockets.

I feel like firing him within the first year could end up doing more harm than good because the next guy will have to wonder if he gets dumped just as fast as the man who came in with a few Lombardi trophies on his resume. If he lost the FCS and Charlotte games I’d agree but they’ve beaten the teams they should have, and simply lost to better teams on the field so far. Wow! From what I'm hearing...UNC has committed some NCAA violations...One of the assistant coaches "supposedly" has been suspended for giving out tickets and multiple players sold these tickets. The staff is made up of professional coaches and maybe they don't know better or really care. You would think with NIL prevalent these days that selling tickets would be okay but its NOT according to the NCAA.
UNC is using these violations to hold Bill Bellichek accountable and can fire him with a 1 million buyout....Now, If these violations somehow/someway aren't on Bill.. it's going to cost UNC 20 million to buy Bill out. Many believe he's coached his last game with a bye this weekend.

With all the stuff that came out this week my stance has changed, put a fork in the BB expirement and let Means run the team till end of year.
