What do y'all think? I'm pretty sure Noah is just closer to the camera and standing up straighter. Think he might be 6'6.5 or 6'7 at this point?

Poor ole Johnson and Lowe looks too little to play with those guys. Are they not as tall as listed? Potter towers over everyone. Think all the other bigs are not as big as listed.

This shows first-hand the problem with trying to assess height based on pictures. If Potter is really 7'1, then Noah absolutely looks 6'8. But if JQ really is only 6'9, then Noah looks closer to 6'6, and maybe 6'5. Based just on this image, you'd say if Potter really is 7'1 then Quaintance is much taller than 6'9, and if JQ really is 6'9 then Potter is much shorter than 7'1.

Did I miss our updated average height somewhere? Not that I think it means a ton, just curious.

Based on the heights given and omitting Tow, our average height is about 6'6.25.

We need to learn Houston defense badly

They do not have big size super athletic guy, their physical defense plays are mostly trained by good coaching

If Garrison is coached by Sampson, he will be rebounding and blocking machine...
Would rather not have Garrison coached by Sampson.

As a side, I feel like Noah has a bit of growing to do this off-season. I dunno what it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if he reported to camp next season a whole inch or two taller. Would put him anywhere between 6'6 and 6'8 depending on whose heights you believe.

Could be nothing. Just an interesting thought that I couldn't shake this year.
So he’s going to grow/has grown because you thought he would?

I mean he would then be playing for Houston 😉
I see

I mean Garrison should be more physical

He should focus more on rebounding and defense rather than offense game.

He should learn how Houston frontcourt players make defense. Garrison has good size and athleticism and should have better rebounding and defense

I understand what you are saying and you’re right. I was just being cute, or trying to be.

Some of the guys hair make them look taller. Have to imagine without the hair.

As others have said, the length is what is more impressive. Even if a defender gets by their man, several of our guys can recover or help more easily because of rangy wingspans.

Not that is matters a lot but I’ve seen Lowe listed at 6’3” on just about every thing from last year.

Noah looks to have grown a little so he could be 6’6”-7”ish.

Both Kam and Hawthorne are really close to 6’9” instead of 6’8”.

Can’t really judge Malachi and Jayden because of their long hair up top.

Pretty long team considering both Dioubate and Quaintance have like 7’5 wingspans.

Both are longer than their height would suggest. And we all know that wingspan and reach is more important in basketball than height.
