....as the Giants only have to win ten more to get the Championship.

I can't count the number of games the past two years the Braves have chased low 90's **** all night to let a pitcher rack up huge numbers... Strike outs are contagious in their sorry looking lineup. I was reallydisappointedwith Heyward chasing in the 9th.<div>
</div><div>But you can't argue the Braves were royally *!#+@* in that game.. Posey was out ..it wasn't even close.. this game should still be going..</div>

that they were going to give it to Brian Snitker. I have no idea if that's true or not. He would certainly be more qualified than Pendleton.

Also, the rumor was that Phillip Wellman would be promoted to replace Snitker as the third base coach. He actually would be a better hitting coach than Pendleton to.

It makes sense on paper at least.

Pendleton sucks fat donkey balls. Surprised he has lasted as long as he has. It's not going to be the same without Cox though... It's freaking amazing that the braves are even in the playoffs considering they don't have 1 guy in the lineup that any pitcher tries to pitcharound. Heyward will be a great player but right now he swings at too many bad pitches.

Fredi Gonzalez is a perfect fit. He literally called Cox, Wren, and other members of the Braves org the day the dipshit from the Marlins fired him.

My sleeper pick is Eddie Perez, but I have no idea what he'd be like as a manager. I just think it'd be funny. The guy was Maddux's personal catcher and has been the bullpen coach for a while, and has been managing for a while in the winter leagues. Would be interesting to say the least, and vastly preferable to TP, in my opinion.

The fact that Fredi turned down an interview with the Cubs shows me that he is looking for the Braves job. I hope they give Perez a good hard look though. Both would be good. Snitker is a good baseball coach too, I hope whoever the new manager is keeps him.

With Posey on second, no score, in the 5th inning, Bobby had Lowe walk Pablo Sandoval and pitch to Cody Ross.

Sandoval's Sept. OPS = 576
Ross' Sept. OPS = 801

why? Cox is the only manager dumb enough to think the righty/lefty thing overcomes a 225 difference in OPS.

plus, Alex Gonzolez hitting 5th? He's been horrible for over a month. Not that Diaz and Conrad are great, but right now they are far better hitters.

Have hope Braves fans, our Croom era is nearly over.

what season ticket holders call the "tbs-fans"... Braves fans who probably haven't seen a baseball game that doesn't include the Braves....ever.. so you don't realize that other teams occasionally lose, make errors, strike-out, have bad relievers in the bullpen, etc.. <div>
</div><div>To say that Cox, making the playoffs with this lineup, is our "Croom" is the mostridiculous non-Coach34 comment ever made in the history of sports. </div><div>
</div><div>The difference between the last 5 years and the late 90's in terms of availability of payroll is like if Nick Saban suddenly became the MSU coach and fans expected a National Title every year like he was at Alabama. </div><div>
</div><div>Cody Ross is a bum..and if Chipper and/or Prado wasn't out for the season then Cox would have gotten the out that he was playing for. </div>
