Hello, extra SEC network channels.....

So, I just turned on ATT Uverse and Paul Finebaum was on the SECN, channel 1607. I changed the chanel to 1608 and 1609 only to find SECAHD and SECBHD. They have the SECN logo up, but no scheduled programming at this time.....I remember when I thought ESPN2 would never work because they didn't have enough content to fill two channels!

Finebaum is not watchable. I just flipped it on because I need some SEC talk. There was a caller ranting about how good looking Nick Saban is.

Way better show if they would replace him with Tony Barnhart

He filled in one day this week. Good show.

Finebaum has his Bama regulars, etc. & has burned too many bridges for me to objective about it.

So, I actually called AT&T Uverse, and after a hold time of just under 20 minutes, they told me they would show games on these two new channels whenever one game ran too long. So, if -the Auburn-Arkansas game runs a little long on Saturday I should be able to watch the start of our game on one of these other channels. Sweet!

Next week SECN has two games scheduled in each time slot. They will use the extra channels for that too.

Barnhart was very good that day. He seems far more knowledgeable and objective. Finebaum admits that he really doesn't know diddly about any of it. He's a moderator who excels at stirring the pot and guess that's what SEC Network wants out of him.
