Our recruiters obviously don't have enough time to find a kicker that is worth a damn, so let's help them out. What kickers have you seen on Friday nights that could get a kick into the endzone? I have seen one at Washington Academy in Greenville.....sorry I don't know his name. Surely there are others in Our State. Post the names or schools on here to make it easier for our recruiting "Experts" to find them. I am tired of seeing the other teams starting drives on the 30 or 35 or 40.

prevent us from recruiting someone that can actually kick it into the endzone. Hell, I'd settle for the5 yard line...consistently.

...I remember a kicker from Meridian High a few years back, would boom the kickoffs through the uprights. While in high school, the ball would be at the 40, that should translate into 80-85 yard kicks in college after coaching and S & C.<div>
</div><div>He walked on at State. The only kickoff I saw him make there was a pooch to the 30 yard line. After that, never heard from him again. </div>

Hayden Lewis- and he would highly likely take a scholarship if State offered.

a kid can kick it high and deep or not. It is not subject to the talent they played against, or 5A vs. 1A schools, it is a leg and a ball. Additionally, between HS kickers and JuCo kickers that I have seen, there is no excuse for an SEC school not to have an adequate kicker. It is one thing to have the leg, but not the mental toughness to make the FG's , it is another to not have the leg in the first place.

Said Holmes booted the ball through the uprights on every kickoff. He said they started on the 20 every single time against them. <div>
</div><div>I say, why not. Can't be much worse, and Holmes at least adds another tackler on the coverage unit!</div>

He has a kicker coming in this year. The kid from Warren central. He can kick the crap out of the ball. Know it's just high school, bur he kicks it 5 to 8 yards in the end zone 98%of the time. He is listed as punter but he does it all
