only a 17" screen. It's really a personal viewing device, so it wouldn't really work for a tailgate unless you can hook it to a bigger TV. It also doesn't do HD so you are just pulling standard def signals. Considering it is a personal device that needs a clear view of the southern sky I think is is pretty limited in it's usefulness. How many times are you sitting around outside by yourself wanting standard def TV?

ETA: Should have said Thumbs down. From what I can tell this thing has to be pointed toward a satellite too, which means you can't put it just anywhere and watch. Pretty strict viewing requirements. If you are looking for a tailgating rig and you don't want to deal with positioning the dish there are some RV systems that automatically find the satellites but you are gonna have to pay for that luxury.
