It would make too much sense to bring him back. He is perfect for college football and I bet will be great the next time around. He probably learned a great deal in the last few years.

Wasn't a big Schiano part 2 fan, however, I cannot stand the thought of one more year with Elmer as coach.

Schiano had the good sense to never upgrade Flood above Co-OC. Then he later demoted him. Flood's good as a positional coach, as long as it doesn't involve gameplanning.
And Schiano is good at managing a program and recruiting, and not good at game planning, as well.

You can make the argument on offense, but the guy has proven he knows what he's doing on defense. Especially after we've seen just how far things can slide with equal levels of talent. In most years, Schiano led a top 20 defense.

I've been in Tampa area for 10 days. Went to giants/bucs, and the only reason anyone knows anything about rutgers is if they're usf fans and they remember us beating them, or they follow the bucs very closely. They know he was a terrible nfl coach. They're not loving lovie either. But they all say we should take schiano back with open arms

No thank you. It's time to move on from the stodgy pro style type offense and bring in a more innovative coach and his more innovative offense. We have gone through the pro style offense for fourteen years. It doesn't mean we need to stick to it forever.
