This is downright embarassing. Mullen has been through this rodeo what?, four years now. His staff is way more 'experienced' than the bunch in Oxford. Are you saying that our staff is still learning 'how' this recruiting game is played? If the answer is 'yes,' then we are in a serious world of hurt.
I think that Bucky got some 'lucky' breaks, recruits on the edge ala Zero and this was a perfect storm year. I also think some of his recruits will end up being a cancer but so far, he has done a good job of controlling his team.
You are going to need to explain 'what' lesson the bears learned. Looks like they are doing okay.

Even if it is true, the information is absolutely worthless unless he has cameras rolling while being offered improper benefits and clearly turning them down. I am sure the NCAA will jump all over verbal testimony provided by a player from a rival school and treat it as gospel.
I usually enjoy some of the stuff you write especially about the actual play and philosophy of the team because you pretty much use logic and some common sense to support your views. But this was a colossal waste of time for anyone who read this and/or were eagerly awaiting to hear 'IT'.

As I recall, Coach was the 1st person on here to go out and guarantee Jones to State. The way information and misinformation was coming out at that point, the fact he had that information then is enough. I don't recall anything of any substance coming out on the B&B show regarding the recruitment of Jones.
I don't fault you for your opinion. However, don't bust a guys balls when he made a bold prediction and got it right.
