In comparison, ours are better, and the best jerseys we've had since JWS (oh god this is getting confusing) was the coach. But because they have similar ones, they suck.

I expect one team to wear completely white uni's while the other wears all maroon uni's during the game this year (obviously) and every year from here on out.

I will say, 2 stripes are ugly as sin, then add the beveled numbers... ours look clean, even with one stripe. If they don't screw up the helmet, we win the fashion contest, which amounts to nothing.

Their new ones remind me of the ones we got in 2009 with the cheesy piping and DII-esk labels. Say what you will about our new ones, they kept it simple and clean.

wonder if they realize this was in no shape, form, or fashion an official MSU release (when it was just some scrub fan -me- taking pictures of his tv during a television show).

How do you call a vertical stripe on the shoulders in the shape of a banner and a HUGE *** ugly logo on the front simple?

their uniforms as well. The same division of the same conference and this is what we came up with? What a ***** slap by Adidas. Its all so unoriginal and reaching. It reeks of us just now getting cable or something, jumping on the everybody is doing it bandwagon.

Bingo. No mesh, no piping, distinct numbers with no beveling (a la A&M)... I for one like the Mississippi State logo on the chest. They're never going to go back to "Miss State" or any variation of it, as we've really made a push to brand ourselves nationally and move up the rankings in familiarity throughout the SEC. Putting "Miss State" on a jersey or "Mississippi State" in plain letters would throw a wrench in the effort.

Other than the logo, you have a 4" by 2" maroon ribbon on the shoulders... that's it. How is that gaudy? How is that not simple? If they removed the stripe the entire jersey would be one color, which I'm not saying is a bad thing, I'm simply pointing out there is nothing to the jersey.

I like them. Love them? No. But the only thing holding me back from LOVING them is a stripe on the compression shirt and shoulder.

Adidas is a German company, and the Germans love messing up everything MSU. You should have expected disappointing jerseys when the athletic department announced they signed a new contract with Adidas.

EDIT: I've gone and done messed up this entire contraption.

I said it on another thread but it got deleted i guess by the way I presented it but I think someone in the SEC office is trying to create a new rivalry that they can promote. Just my opinion.
