Ohio State plays Indiana 3-7 and Michigan 5-5 and then a two loss Wisconsin team in their championship game (who will probably kick their ***). If the term "just win baby" ever applied to anybody anywhere anytime it applies to us right now.

If there are any 1 loss teams available from power 5 conferences, OM won't go. And there s/b a couple available even if we do lose.

We better win out. If not, I won't be able to live with the couple of OM friends I have.

If they go and have Ohio State jump over us because of their significant Wisconsin win, that would be horrific. I mean our 6th place western Div LSU beat Wisconsin. Wooopty 17in Doooo. That right there, should tell you the differences in the 2 conferences.

On Finebaum today Kanell basically said that we don't have any premier wins anymore because those teams we beat no longer have a number beside their name. Then, I **** you not, the next sentence he praised FSU's wins over Louisville, Notre Dame, and Miami because those teams have NFL players.

I do not think that that it is set in stone that any teams ranked 1-4 this week are guaranteed to stay there as long as they keep winning. TCU just proved that wrong this week and Florida State has continued to drop in rankings despite winning. With that being said, I think we are certainly safe winning out unless we just barely beat Vandy (which will not happen). Even if the OM game comes down to the wire but we win in the end then we will certainly not drop that week. But the Committee has shown that a win is not necessarily enough to hold your place in their rankings.

Also, I think it is wrong to say that Ole Miss could not move ahead of any 1-loss Power Five teams if they were to win out. Florida State is an undefeated power Five team ranked below two 1-loss teams so I just don't think that you can't make these blanket predictions about this committee. They are clearly ranking the teams based in large part on who they perceive to be the strongest teams. Ole Miss would have two of the best wins in the country (us and Bama) if they won out so I certainly think that they COULD make it. Of course, they won't because they won't beat us! (very well may not beat Arkansas)

The highest seeded team will have the bowl game closes to home. So if Oregon is #1 they will go to the rose bowl to play #4. If Bama is number one they would go to the Sugar and play #4. If Bama is the #2 and Oregon is #1 it would be the same. If we are #3 and Oregon is #2 we would go to the Rose.

Actually you don't understand the committee at all. They're on record saying they throw out last week's rankings and start over each week. So being #4 now doesn't mean that if we win out we're in. That is completely wrong.

The committee has dropped teams without them losing already. FSU has dropped twice and Baylor dropped this week.

Bottom line: We need help. OSU will be conference champs and 12-1 if they win out. They WILL get in ahead of an 11-1 team that didn't win their division. I might not like that, but I'm reasonable enough to understand that it's true.
