I cannot believe Carter put out that statement. After a week of rumored ultimatums and all the talk of them putting their foot down….. my gosh does that make him look like a pushover.

I guess I think this means that Ole Miss still thinks they are in it, but Lane has offers in hand and they have more or less agreed that he will make his decision immediately after the egg bowl.
I guess by getting him to agree to a deadline and publicizing it, and the deadline being right after the egg bowl, they are hoping to get him to make an emotional decision before he's had time to come down from the game?
