With NIL, transfer and Saban retiring, I was hoping for real changes with more teams having a shot at the championship, but here we are again with Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia at the top and State sucks. Rinse and repeat. I almost stopped watching because of it several years back. Very disheartening.

Indiana is probably the favorite at the moment to win the NC. Things have changed...

It’s a lot better than it was. Will be interesting to see rev sharing impact as well before throwing in the towel

Playing a 3 win team close will hurt them in the post season. Regular season mistakes always come back to bite you in the butt in the post season.

Aren't scores close on average this year? Thought I read that but can't recall where

You realize you can say that about most teams this year?

Bama has a loss to a bad FSU team.
A&M barely beat Arkansas
Ole Miss has struggled with multiple bad teams
Georgia barely escaped Auburn and Florida

Literally Ohio state is the only team that hasn’t had a scare yet.

The same teams will likely win the title, yes. But many more teams now have hope, there’s no denying that, and it’s made the games more interesting.

Alabama doesn't have much of a running game. Doubt they win it all.

IU, Vandy and OM, traditional doormats, are in good shape to me the CFB playoff. Getting to the playoff will be much easier; only 3-4 will have a realistic chance of winning it though (this year - Bama, TOSU, UGA, IU, TAMU).
Let's be honest about ole Miss. They have had a really easy schedule. Sometimes its luck in scheduling.

Indiana went on the road and handled a really $$ talented Oregon team by ten. I don’t think they are a joke.

No doubt, but in the Portal/NIL era what you think may be a tough schedule may turn out to be easier than expected and vice versa.

We could very easily be a two loss team and it come down to the Egg Bowl for a playoff spot. At the beginning of the year, our schedule was considered to be very hard.

What's great about the portal, next year we might strike gold and the teams we play strike crap out of the portal, and we end up with a favorable schedule. Every school will almost have a different roster going into the new season.
