So the sherrif's idea is to take away beer sales, which doesn't limit liquor sales OR the hours of operation, and hope that it somehow cuts down on the partying? Sorry, but if you have a bar that stays open for 2 or 3 or 4 hours after everything else in the city closes, people will go, regardless if they can't get beer. And to think that forcing those people to drink whiskey/rum/vodka/Jager/etc. instead of beer will help curb any drunk driving or partying is just plain stupid. As best I can see it, it's a college town and the kids are gonna party regardless; taking away beer but still selling liquor doesn't make a damn bit of sense to me. This whole idea is just dumb.
