Our staff is struggling mightily this year with walks and HBPs. I’d be shocked if State doesn’t take this one.
It kinda makes you think that we might need to do something different when warming pitchers before taking the field

With our pitching and defense this year no lead will ever be safe.

There are travel ball teams that don’t give up 10 BB and commit 3 errors in a game.
I'm not gonna say much after we get raked over the coals for being unhappy that we gave up a ton of walks and errors this weekend. I'm guessing it is the new normal that we have given up 10 walks, 3 errors, and 8 runs with only 4 hits.
Maybe we will score enough that it won't matter how bad our pitching and defense is.

There was one early inning I think USM had bases loaded one out, I was thinking DP but begging please hit a grounder to Second Base. I just couldn’t help but think a grounder to Larry was prolly our only hope for them hitting into the double play…And it happened, and he made the play while moving towards first and pivoting and making a perfect throw to second to start the DP. Idk if it’s wrong for me to only feel confident in one infielder making a play or not.
