The Oklahoma and Texas schools are definitely at a crossroads. They all would rather keep the Big 12 in tact, but Colorado and Nebraska leaving hurts.

However, behind all of this Pac 16/SEC/Big Ten talk is this. The Big 12 is talking to TCU and Air Force. AFA is a better overall sports program than Colorado, and TCU could be dangerous if they got Big 12 recruits.

Word is that all decisions are being delayed while these talks go on.

and said something similiar yesterday. Nebraska leaving hurts, Colorado not so much. There isa lot of good football and no reason that region of the country can't continue to have a strong and viable conference. The Big12 obviously needs better leadership though.

...currently making money from the conference. No wonder they'd rather just keep things as is.

They would make their markets smaller. TCU does absolutely nothing for them. Air Force might make up some of the loss of Colorado but still won't have as big a presence in the Denver market.
