please use objective criteria. I am neutral in the Mullen debate.

Examples:
Wins?
SEC Wins
Bowl games?
Season Ticket sales?
Recruiting Rankings?

I'll play.

Wins - 7-9. We are a 5-7 team traditionally, we need to actually take that next step.
SEC wins - Tricky given how dominant the conference has been. Our SEC record may never be indicative of how good of a team we are. For this, I say keep it competitive in losses.
Bowl Games - Really relies on the 1st two, no?
Season ticket sales - We've been in unchartered territory here since Mullen arrived, which is a positive for him. I say continue that and grow upon it.
Recruiting rankngs - The big ticket. Keep it competitive with our tier of peers within the SEC. And since everyone in the conference is recruiting better, we need to join the mix.
