Here's a legitimate Jumbotron advertising complaint....

....is it really necessary to announce the Hardee's 28-point giveaway, or whatever it is, late in the fourth quarter when we're losing and obviously not going to get 28 points?

How is this not rubbing salt in our own wound?

I understand having a promotion and I understand that we have to promote the promotion, but for heaven's sake do it in the first half, and not with four minutes left in the game.

Pretty much everyone near us agreed wholeheartedly with this point.

The athletic department needs to correct this.

is guaranteed that ad will show that ad X amount of times, but yes, something could be done about it.

Maybe I'm not paying attention at the right time, but I rarely see other scores being displayed. That's my only suggestion for improvement.

Ultimately, the ad is promoting Hardee's. The promotion is secondary. I'm willing to bet that some people went to Hardee's because of that ad regardless of whether the promotion was good or not.

My point is, if they show that ad and announce the promotion during the 2nd quarter, it's good advertisement.

When they show the ad and announce the promotion late in the 4th quarter when we're losing and have no chance whatsoever to get to 28 points, it's a swift kick to the nuts.

And if I recognize Hardee's giving me a swift kick to the nuts, I'm not going there for my post-game hamburger.

Apparently you're cursed regarding that deal if you don't happen to pass through Columbus or Tupelo on a regular basis.

Lots of people chuckled at this week's version about protecting the melon.

I propose next time we get one about protecting Mullen.

A Florida fan commented to me that was pretty cool.
Anyone who says they "love" the physics of football thing should be banned from posting to save the rest of us from reading any more of their useless opinions. It's the dumbest damn thing I have ever watched, and I am one of the few that can hear everything they say. Being able to hear them makes it worse. Everytime they show it, everyone around me just stares at the screen with an embarrassed look on their face.

when the helmet saved that precious mellon. Granted, they were all drunk, but I think it's fine.

Also, the Crawfish shuffle rules.

That is all.
