Here's a question....

If you're a university with unlimited resources looking to hire away an elite coach, who would you rather have?

This is in response to a passing comment elsewhere assuming Meyer would be in South Bend next season.

I cancelled your vote, I'd rather have Urban, that Nick Satan, just something about Nick.
Unfortunately $ is a problem, and we won't get either.

There's just something about that thing where he not only wins the game but takes a dump on the other coach's front porch the morning before the game. He is pretty much the badass that could threaten to whip anybody's *** and back it up. Except Utah.

so I wasn't thinking MSU. Of course I do have a masters from UTK (and before jacksteFAGno calls that gay, that's actually what UT is known as in the greater Knoxville area). I'm thinking from a ND, Alabama/UT/UF, etc. perspective. Plus Dan Akroyd/Winthrop (Porkchop) agrees.

I went with Meyer because his record has been more consistent than Saban's has.

Saban may very well be an *******, but I liked the fact that his teams seem to act very professional, they're very sound on defense, they don't beat themselves, they take care of the ball, and he wins. They're just always solid in all phases of the game.

Forida at times has problems with penalties, plus I have NEVER seen a team as thuggish as Florida. Was it really necessary when our team is huddled up pre-game to try to fight them becuase they are jumping up and down like every team does every game or confront MSU's team during the DPR? It's not so much that his team was thuggish, it's that it indicated to me that he may not have control of the team.

I don't like him personally, but I voted for his coaching a very winning team.
Got to give the Devil his due.
And UF obviously is missing Mullen this year.
It was a coach vote, not a reality TV show popularity vote.

some losses early at Alabama ( including our 2007 victory ) that almost killed him & he knows he'd have to endure the same in the first couple of years at Notre Dame. He's already got enough money to burn a wet elephant, so he'll finish up his coaching career up at Bama where all the tide fans are already believing he's the re-incarnation of the ole "Bear" himself. I think even I could put up with the dumbass Alabama fan ******** for $4,000,000 a year.

He's cheaper, made winners out of BG & Utah, and he doesn't have that Tuscaloosa taint.

And as far as I know, he's never walked out in public dressed like this:

On the other hand, it looks like Saban is willing to pay bigger dollars to SEC refs to make sure those instant replays go his way.
