Just read that Mullen said something about "if you want a better result, you have to put more into it"... I took that as him blaming himself for not preparing. Was that coachspeak or was it calling himself out?

Since the Alabama game, it appears as if our gameplans against aTm and OM were complete garbage. We beat an awful Arky team and played LSU decent, but not great. Did Mullen/staff quit after Bama rolled us?

i think so. it's a problem i've had with mullen since he got here. sometimes pouts when things don't go his way and he knows we're outmanned. but he did not quit last night, and that says alot to me. he's really only quit against the truly elite teams. however, that could be helpful this year, as we were 'up' against the lesser teams who may have knocked us off. well, except last night. even last night, we had out chances. go up early and we'd have killed their spirit. didn't capitalize, mainly because of our offensive woes.

That quote may be the first shot at Wilson from Mullen. Good move if so.
