in Vegas b/c the MSU AD inexplicably gave the walrus both a contract extension and a $700k raise after last year's miraculous season (thank you, Ellis Johnson). Perhaps one could make an argument for the extension, perhaps. However, no way in hell was the raise deserved. To give the man both a raise and an extension, well that is just indefensible. We have met the enemy, and he is ... us.

Even better than that is giving Woody a raise and extension. At least Crooms is responsible for the offense AND defense. Woody may or may not be worth a ****, but when his supposed responsibility laid a turd and got bailed out repeatedly by the defense he in no way deserved anything more.
