Just stop over-reacting. You *** clowns are acting like a bunch of 12 year old girls who had their first period. Just relax. We got our asses handed to us. Am I embarrassed? Absolutely. If we get swept, will I be pissed? You damn right I will.<div>
</div><div>But John Cohen has made MARKED improvement from last year to this one. The first season he has that we regress noticeably, fire his ***. But until then, grow the 17 up.</div><div>
</div><div>This message is also intended for all you morons who said Dirk is better than Bird because of one 17'ing game.</div>

hinged on two key plays:<div>
</div><div>1. Ogden's "error"</div><div>2. Cohen and Thompson failing to take Pollerena out of the game after he walked 2 batters with 9 pitches and Mathook at the plate. He should have been pulled the first time Thompson visited the mound. </div><div>
</div><div>I am not saying we would have won the game, but I think had even one of those scenarios gone the other way, the game would have turned out completely different. After Mathook's home run, our team immediately shut down. </div><div>
</div><div>I honestly think we can play with LSU. They played very well tonight, but there have been many times this year they have shut down on teams, too. I consider tomorrow a must-win game. Talent-wise, I think we have a shot at it... psychologically... I have no idea. Games like this generally lead to one of two scenarios: We have either given up on the season and will come out flat tomorrow and LSU will take advantage of us again, or LSU will come out flat and we will give them everything we have. These kind of *** whoopin's generally do one of those two things, and these are the situations Cohen earns (or doesn't earn) his half million dollars a year....</div>

Dirk did miss a big FT late, but i think Dirk would work Byrd for a Big Mac all day, and he's not leaning on the injury bug like Larry did in the later part of his career

Break the chain eat local...

I'd agree with one key play that the game hinged on...

Baseball is a game of momentum, especially college baseball. By allowing
Mahtook to swing, first base open, when only trailing 4-1. Pitch, bomb,
momentum down the ******* and game over from that point on. Dumbass
move by Cohen to not walk him and set up forces at all bases. All week,
ESPN Baton Rouge has been debating on where to rank Mahtook in ALL TIME
LSU baseball. Just say in the Top 10 to Top 5 players ever. And we pitch
to him at a crucial time.
