....we have 3 programs to worry about who may have openings in the near term. Florida, LSU, and Georgia.

Richt is winding down and probably has one more year left unless Georgia jumps up and wins 9-10 games. The next 8 win or below season that Miles has will be his last. And who knows what is going on with Urbz?

Point being, unless something unexpected happens, we're in the clear this year, barring a failure of epic proportions by our AD (not gonna happen).

Right now, I think we keep Mullen for 4 years, assuming he can win 7-8 per year. If he gets to 9 or 10 next year, a big time program will come after him, but the schedule will likely prevent that.

He knows he can do better than Miami in a year or two, he is creating his own program, and Megan likes Vegas.

So everybody chill.

I honestly don't believe Georgia will be an option. Kirby Smart will be there next head coach barring something drastic, he played at UGA. LSU is interesting, but remember there are some big names out there including Petersen and Patterson. Florida would be the scary one, even though I think they would make another run at Stoops before Mullen.

based on their history, recruiting area, and fairly easy conference to get to the BCS in. But Shalala is a definite thorn in the athletic program's side...I'm sure it interests him, we'll just have to see how much.

Georgia? Could happen but I think Richt comes back and wins 9 or so next year. Piss on the Kirby Smart stuff- Georgia's AD worked at Fla, if he wants Mullen, he'll go after him.

LSU? Everybody has been saying Miles is going to be fired for the last 4 years. Miles is going to be better on 2011 than they were this past season. And has more of the big games at home. Miles will be at LSU at least 3-4 more years.

Fla? Urban Meyer is still young and he is as competitive as hell. He wont leave Fla because its one of the best jobs in college football. He just had a little health scare and it shook him. That job aint coming open anytime soon either.
