Heritage's defense is good. Doesn't get the credit it deserves in my opinion. Good article.
They are good, but had the most trouble this year against running offenses. Should be interesting...
I've been saying it since I went to the benefit game in August against Staunton River. Heritage can be had up the middle. I've just yet to see a team commit to running up the middle and being happy with 5-6 yard gains. At least it hasn't happened in the 3 games I've watched heritage play this season. Running side to side on the heritage defense will not work because they are to fast. North and South is the way to go. Wear them down and SR will win a close one.
If JF can put up 35 points just imagine what SR can do ?!! JF has any kinda defense they win that game .
38... And all they did was power up the middle...
If JF had any kind of defense they would have won most of their games...
How does this years Stanton River squad compare to the team they had last year?
I know Heritage is very good and beat a lot of quality teams. I actually think this is a very intriguing match up. May be the most interesting across all classifications.

The winner of this game will probably be a heavy favorite in the state Championship game against what I think will be Hopewell. They also played a lot of good teams in upper classifications but it didn't turn out too well for them.
