Heritage 21-0...4 minutes left in 1st quarter. Davis three carries, three touchdowns
He scores again. 21-0 Heritage With 4:32 left in the first. Heritage trying to get the passing game going, but receivers are dropping passes.
It is cold out here tonight and we up 28-0...At least I can leave at halftime....we are on a mission. Davis 3 carries 3 td 96 yards! Easy work.
I am telling everyone now... nobody is beating Heritage. I know liberty not that good but we are literally making them look like a middle school team. I wasted my money today watching this mess but I am out of here. Rockbridge/Spotswood better wave the white flag now. These dudes ain't losing.
What happens when they play somebody that hits back like men?

Wow, pretty boastful statement for a team who still has to worry about Staunton River, Glass and Byrd... And everyone else if Davis gets injured...
Glass and Byrd are Class 4 so, Heritage wouldn't have to play either of them. Heritage faces the winner of Rockbridge-Spotswood. The rest of their region includes Brookville-Rustburg and Monticello-Waynesboro.
Also if Davis was to get injured, they have a sophomore back up running back (#23 Kyron Thomas) that would start for any other school in Class 3, Region C or D. Yes, that includes SR and LB. Not saying he would start over Overstreet at SR but he would definitely be somewhere in the SR backfield. Thomas is not as powerful as Davis but he is much faster and more shifty.
I say all that to say, even if Heritage didn't have Davis, they have a very good backup RB and a good passing game as well. They would still win the region.

It wouldn't be a game but I'd like to see this heritage team play for the state title against Trace McSorelys Briar woods team. I think this team would make it more respectful but not loaded like that Briar woods team. Staunton River is gone give em a game if they play for sure!

No doubt, he is a special player. If by "run the table" you mean win states, I also agree that they would need him to do so. But I said they would still win the region without him.
I second that. Kyron Thomas has been solid at safety. He will be good in the next 2 years if he plays running back. JV had a good running back too, just need to bulk up.
Monticello...if they get by Brookville, would light up Heritage's D. Just saying...

Blacknight pride. If monticello got by Brookville (they won't) heritage would hold them to 14 or less and win by 21+.
LOL! Just wanted to see how you responded. I do believe Monticello would score more than 14, but I also don't think they'll get by Brookville so...
If you want to beat Heritage defense you need to run north and south between the tackles and not get behind on down and distance. They are great in pursuit east and west.
