From what I heard earlier, it was a special unit (something like Service Master or whatever the major cleanup place is called) and not ordinary maids. And the timing was pretty coincidental.

Servicemaster is a national/global (franchised)firm that does anything and everything up to water mitigation. Major carpet cleaning with commercial dryers/air movers, and humidifiers. Basically, you call them if you have had a flood or water leak and the flooring is salvageable. They do major league cleanup. They are usually property insurance heavy. So yah, red flag.
