I want a T shirt....one white, one maroon...just like the header up there with the M State logo on front center chest and the 1941 National Champions on the back. Absolutely love it!

Edited to add: While I'm being demanding, mix in a gray as well.

allow you to make them. all you would need to do is send original48 (or post it here) the mstate logo on one jpg file and the 1941 National Champions on another jpg file. most sites now allow you to upload pictures and manipulate them onto the shirt, save them and then order. i don't know if there are going to be copyright issues though.

customink.com is a good one to try first

/Of course, you are gonna want to shrink the MState logo and blow up the banner a bit.

I think this would be a hell of an idea. Make up some shirts, sell them on sixpackspeak.com, charge $15.00+shipping, and all proceeds after cost go to the Bulldog Club. Hell of a marketing idea for sixpackspeak.com, and would really piss Jean off.

didn't use BMT's log on the back. it was a bit awkward across the back. i think it would be better if on the front actually but i am not a front of the shirt kind of fella. this is very, very basic but you get the idea. it is simple to do.

Im with you there... Surely we can come up with a "SPS.com 1941" logo that will look good on the back of a shirt.

You have to clear anything through the University if the logo is going to be on it. Even "Mississippi State" is trademarked.

well... my brother use to own a tshirt business and he use to say that he had no problem putting the mstate logo on small scale projects. The problem comes when you start mass producing and making profit.

the only reason he may have gotten away with it is they simply didn't know about it. And something from here wouldn't just slip past.

It should say:

1941*
National Champions

*Yes, the year the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

I will buy several of these assuming they don't look like ****. You can get shirts made in Starkville with the MState logo with just a fee unless something has changed.

and would be much cheaper than online custom t shirt websites... i just would need at least a good number of how many people wanted them. I am legit and i could cut out the middle man. if i had the art i would be willing to go ahead and make a sample of the shirt and take pictures of it and PM you or post for everyone to see what they would be getting. Ya Mississippi State's logo is going to be the toughest thing to do as far as a trademark but as far as SPS its a go if i have permission from DS or someone else in charge.

We did a shirt in college that had a MSU logo with a pair of severed balls on the front pocket and all we had to do was pay the licensing fee. It didn't have to go through approval. Of course those were wilder times when coaches could castrate a steer on the football field and all so things may be different.

Front

1941 (on the pocket if possible to have a pocket)

Back

First: SixPackSpeak.com banner with Officially Unofficial under it but take out the Bulldog Ale because of copyright

Second: National Champions

Third: The Year that the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor

I would order 2 or 3 myself. Seems like we could have a sticky at the top to make up an order. We might need to change the slogan to "Raising more money for MSU athletics than other websites".

let's email Byrne and ask for some sort of waiver on the licensing fee, and in return all profits will be donated to the Bulldog Club. He can put it in writing that we will use the logo only for this project. Then we take it from there.

Lawdawg, perhaps you could draw up something along the lines.

do you work BMT if you want to expound on the idea or anyone else. The 1941 would be in smaller font.

without the MSU logo. I mean really, what we are talking about here is our Football Team's first National Championship for the love of God. Let's treat it with the respect it deserves!!! Seriously though, without the MSU logo I think interest wanes a whole lot. Chance of me spending money on a MSU shirt that is funny, insanely high. Chance of me spending money on a shirt that is funny and obtusely related to MSU, pretty damn low.
