I had forgotten all about it. I think it was the year we were playing USM in the GA Tech regional and we had beat them earlier that year. He said that that was a fluke and the USM would beat us 9 out of 10 times we played them. Of course, we beat them in the regional and have now won 5 in a row against them I believe. So all they need is 45 straight wins and he'll be right.

McInnis threw against you guys in the Regional. Boomer was the midweek guy and I believe faced you (and pitched well) at Trustmark earlier that year.
He said this last year....which was hilarious because even last year, he was a shell of what he showed his early freshman year. Awfully big words from a kid who couldn't throw more than four innings.

It was year before last. I remember him being a freshman when he said it and we won that particular regional. Last year we didn't win the regional.
His comments pretty much embody the consensus USM attitude. So I guess 75% of the school and its fan base are "coast trash". I wonder if that led karma to 0-12 them in football this year too?
