Hey cyclists- anyone use a weehoo for their kid? Or know someone who uses one?

We have been looking at getting one for our youngest(3yo) so she can be out of the Burley and participate in the ride. They are stupid expensive if bought new and one finally came up on Craigslist.
Anyone have one or know of someone that has one? Are there downsides to using one because I haven't read anything negative yet.

After the guy on Craig's List anally rapes the OP who shows up to his house hoping to buy something the raper didn't have to begin with I hope he comes back and posts how it all went down.

Ends up a middle aged mom sold me the weehoo. No anal rape, though its impressive you have managed to discuss anal rape in more than just 1 thread today.

Apparently there aren't many cyclists on here. Or if there are, they don't have kids that come along. Surprising.

All the SPS cyclists 3 year old kids ride their own bike and are already training for the Tour De France**

I don't know anyone who has one, but I'm considering one myself. I have a 4 yo and a 2 yo. The 4yo has a nice bike he can ride, but he gets tired. My grand vision right now is a cruiser for Mom and a double Weehoo for the kids.

Many of the posters here cycle on a monthly basis.

Haven't heard much lately

Think you are referring to Jan Morgan, co owner of Boardtown Bikes.

Last I heard, she was much improved, but it's been awhile since then.

I sort of kept up with the situation, because I bought a couple of bikes out of there, And had met

Jan and her husband.

My Weehoo came in last week and my 20 month old and I made a few Green Oaks -> Downtown Starkville laps on Good Friday. She really enjoyed it even though she doesn't understand how to use the pedals yet.

The biggest issue is that the whole thing is gonna fall over if you stop and do not support the bike and trailer. Finding something to lean it on is a necessity in getting the kid in and out.
