At first they tell everyone that nothing will change because they don’t want attrition on the posters’ terms. Board leadership will try to leave immediately with a fat payday, but the acquirer will negotiate key management to stay on for a year. The acquirer will then send in its own management to moderate the board. This management will ban half the posters, including longtime posters, primarily based on key metrics. The remaining posters will be strongly encouraged to post more and more until the joy is sucked out of posting. Some will continue to post out habit or loyalty or nostalgia. Then the board will merge again to prevent its death

Nothing changes. The MSU rivals site was pretty much dead. For other schools - they are adding all the Rivals sites. Some are merging with the existing On3 site, others are standing separate but on the On3 platform or there wasn't an On3 presence for that school so the rivals site will become the On3 site for that school.

Kentucky is a good example. The Rivals and On3 sites for Kentucky are both large so they are staying separate entities from what I can tell.

I was serious, actually I have been a member here since 2014. I just started back posting some again. I wasn’t sure if the merger was the old genespage which I don’t read or post.
