If Ole Miss ends up with only 2 top 50 wins and we end up with 4 or 5 depending on the SEC tournament then I think that would trump any advantage Ole Miss has with the SOS. The better they do, the better it makes us look.

it won't be unprecedented. Hofstra beat George Mason twice the year George Mason went to the Final 4. They had very similar resumes, but Hofstra ended up in the NIT while George Mason went to the Final 4.

if their RPI ends up in the 40's, combined with their SOS- they got a good shot at getting in

if we both win today and go 1-1 in the tourney, we will go in over them if one of us make it.

"November is not exhibition season"

The committee rewarded a 19-13 Arizona team for playing a tough schedule...you will see more of that this year as well

Their strength of schedule is 75% of their RPI. There's no need to look at strength of schedule inaddition to RPI. It's already weighted too heavily in the RPI to begin with. Not saying it won't happen because it definitely could. If it does, we have no one to blame but our schedule maker. We should never have a strength of schedule in the triple digits. Part of it isbad luck, who knew UCLA would suck so bad and I'm not surewhether or not we knew which Big East team we would get whenwe signed up for the game in Tampa. But even with that, we should have never scheduled so many bad teams.
