Not much competition for the early game. There is a sports bar in Jackson Square near Decatur & St Peter.

Lots of locals hang out here and the bartenders are usually awesome...I just always have a great here. It's on the corner of Bourbon and Conti.

Lafitte's Blackmith Bar is pretty damn cool too. It's on the corner of Phillip and Bourbon.

Of course, you could just walk around the Quarter and where ever you end up will be awesome.

This statement may not be true considering where you are. LSU - KY play the 11:2-whatever game and A&M - Arky also play at 11:00.

it is pretty big and it will definitely have the game on the TV. Food isn't that great but the beer is cold. I think it's next to the Holiday Inn and Hotel Monteleone.

Great food but only 1 TV at the bar and only about 25% of the bar can see it.

eta. Nevermind, LSU has an early kick

Go to 12 bar or Ernst's cafe if you are downtown

And actually the casino in the poker room is a good place to watch a game as well

Being that I live here Uptown, I'd stay away from French Quarter, Cooter Brown's by a landslide.
