It sure as hell didn't last night, and didn't for the first half of this game either. But the team rallied, won a critical game, and proved me wrong. Glad it happened. It wasn't some dumbass comment. It was the absolute truth. I didn't think this team had any heart. They came back and proved me wrong. Case closed. It was an opinion, and tonight, they proved me wrong. So be it.
Fact, opinion, whatever. The point is this team, even though they are probably overachieving most everyone's expectations, still up until this point haven't shown me the heart that is required on a day in day out basis in the SEC. Tonight they did and I will gladly eat my words for that. But one comeback night like this doesn't make me a dumbass. I said what I said, and I don't deny I said it.Tonight, I was proved wrong. We have made some comebacks this year, but we have done some stupid **** that made me think we didn't have any heart. And since you keep asking and won't look it up yourself, we have 4 8th or 9th inning SEC comebacks this year. We also have 4 losses by 9 runs or more, and 3 SEC losses in the 8th or 9thinning and on. So it's not like we are some super team that comes back all the time and plays great. This team has shown that it can break down mentally, and to me that shows no heart.Tonight we didn't, and I'm proud as hell of our team they were able to accomplish what they did tonight. Obviously we have battled this year and played a great 2nd half of the game tonight and got a crucial win.

I said I was proved wrong or I gladly eat my words 5 different times. I would pretty much consider that owning up to what I said. I don't have a problem being proven wrong. Team played well last night. That's all I care about. I made a point that I thought wasa legitcriticism of our team, and they did something to prove me wrong. That doesn't really bother me. I would muchrather be wrong about the point I made thanbe right and have lost last night.
