We seem to be pretty good at it as we got 7 top notch Florida recruits yesterday and we got 9 last year. Of course don't forget Dexter McCluster from Largo, Florida, class of 2006. Agreed that Meyer has first dibs but Mullen needs to use his contacts down there before he doesn't have any. He seems to be afraid of offending Meyer.

In the meantime Mullen is doing himself and State no favors by confining his recruiting to Mississippi. Didn't seem to hurt our chances against you last Thanksgiving. Too bad we didn't play the easiest non-conference schedule I could possibly think of last year and went to the cotton bowl. Dang. You started a TX quarterback and the before mentioned (by you) Florida running back and got whooped by our team. You couldn't stop us even when you knew what was coming. You know why. Because we played people better than your team every week last year. Ok, almost every week. MTSU away and Kentucky away were easier. But come on.
