For an outmanned, outclassed team to take an SEC power to overtime only to lose
Coach throwing the QB & kicker under the bus. The defense throwing the offense under the bus. But it's all done in Christian love. **
...has to be heartbreaking. You have to admire the pluck of a team that obsessed 365 days this past year, only to lose it in overtime.
Part of it could be Dan Mullen being cruel to them- if he had started Dak instead of a 3rd string true freshman, we'd have been ahead 35-0 at the half. He must be sadistic to give the underdog Bears hope only to snatch it away at the last minute...sorta like Lucy pulling the football from Charlie Brown.
For a while there, it looked like a Georgia Southern-Florida re-do....however, we decided to take control of the game and put it away like a major SEC power should always do.
ESPN was definitely on "upset alert" last night.
