Is "stains" still coaching for his job next year? Not bad for such a "clueless" coach

I never said Stans was coaching for his job. I said that going from 6-2 to 9-7 with a sweep to Auburn was a very disappointing second half in the "down" SEC and he should have done better. And he did. Congrats to him and the team for a job very well done. The team played great this weekend except for a 10-12 minute stretch against UT when they went back to their old ways of jacking up 3's instead of running their offense. But, to their credit, they gutted it out and played great D to beat 8 players for the title. You and Atmosqueer are big men, want to call me out again, *****?

As for Stans, he's got big expectations next year now. Coming off a Tourney title and no more use of the "we are young" excuse, I expect nothing less than another SEC West title since that is the high water mark around here, and a much better seed and a run in the 2010 Dance.

Did you really just find 10 minutes of game out of the last four to criticize?

That is kind of what I was wondering. I am guessing he will have another stupid *** nickname for Stans as soon as we lose in the tournament. And the internet threat is about as gay as it gets

...I'm still wondering why it took you 5 hours after the game ended to show up.

You are usually making **** posts all during the games.

Your notable (and welcomed) absence today greatly enhanced this board's ambiance.

douchebag.

Just for the record, you, fishwater, and Coach34 deserve every bit of the ridicule you get, and I will see to it that you get it. I invite all posters to whale away on those three, with no repercussions. No matter how profane, grammatically incorrect, or ridiculous your post is, you are safe if it insults one of those three posters. Open Season!

Personally, I am just glad to see one of these douchenozzles actually admit we run an offense. For months now I thought Stans was incapable of implementing anything closely resembling an offense. My hats off to ya, oem.

Now if I read about one of the other two clowns admit it I will probably stroke out. I am enjoying all the **** these guys are catching no matter how many tingling feelings it sends up their legs, because I did read that they really didn't mean it. Ya know, "They was just 17ing with ya the whole time" ****.

At least a couple days before I read on here that Stans can't coach again, until they lose, or God forbid don't lose and run the damn table on the damn field. I guess then when Kodi transfers or Varnado declares or some other stupid **** this bunch will lay in the grass waiting.

I'm new to the board, but not new to these Stans bashers. It's always the drunkest idiot at the bar. This OEM guy sounds like a total douche.

Gene would just ban the people who were super negative, and make a sticky post to end the hostilities. I'm encouraging it.

If people want to be stupid, they are going to be called out on it. Been that way since the first day people I don't know started showing up here.

All you do is bash Stansbury and say he can't coach a lick. You attribute all his success to recruiting (which is ridiculous) and give him no credit as a floor coach. Then, when the guy does a great job turning around a team that looked poised to collapse and wins the SEC Tournament without a bye you come back with "he's got big expectations next year now." You know why he has big expectations? Because of success. Why does he have success? Because he's a good coach. I've never claimed he's the greatest coach ever, but the guy has done a good job at a historically crappy basketball school and this has lead to higher expectations. You can't talk about expectations at MSU without first conceding the fact that the coach has done a good job creating those expectations.

You guys should give it up, He's done a pretty good job. At times he has done better than others but give the guy his credit. It boggles my mind that you guys hate Stansbury so much. I just don't understand it. He's not made it to 6 NCAA Tournaments. You don't do that at MSU by being a crappy coach.

Speaking of which, what happened to the "this team has quit" crowd that was out in full force a couple of weeks ago. And you're right. The bar is where it is because of Stansbury. I don't want him to leave Mississippi State, but I hope in the coming weeks he gets what he deserves - interest from other schools. If nothing else, he can parlay that into his retirement package at MSU.
