...serious question here, not a flame:

Do you really think Fresno is a better team than Georgia? I only ask because you have referred many times to Fresno "being ranked higher than Georgia".

I mean, Georgia has two very close losses to a couple of ranked opponents before tonight, and all of a sudden they aren't as good as some team from the WAC?

...to hear his rationale. He's usually level-headed, so I want to see where the sudden burst of retardation tonight came from. Maybe he had a little help from Jack Daniels.

I'm sure he could give us some nice music selections, drink choices (by time of the year), or great vacation spots, but who gives a **** what he thinks about an actual sports related topic. He talks **** for his team that has losses from Jacksonville State and Vanderbilt, that should tell you a little something.

I also never said the posts were torn down, I was asking after the commentators on tv said they were. Then it devolved into whether it was gay if it had happened. Which I stll maintain it would have been. Between sagarin and the AP, seems fair to say however.

But any person with a half a brain knows that Georgia would beat Fresno State 8 or 9 times out of 10 times played due to sheer talent.

is the usual leap into utter hysteria that occurs when Ole Miss fans begin to think that MSU's football program may possibly be in better shape than Ole Miss's. Whether the program actually is in better shape or not remains to be seen, but the sheer possibility of it being true has many of the usual level headed Reb fans in a ridiculous frenzy this year. As long as the Rebs are solid or we both plain suck, it's fine. But if there's even a remote possibility that State has taken over their rightful place as the flagship, all sensibility goes out the window.

Expect to start hearing the cow college jabs, redneck university jokes, and all the other usual putdowns on a more than regular basis for the remainder of the season. It's hard to believe that a fan of a school that lost to JState with a defensive tackle that can't read, a felon at starting QB, and a flat out dickhead for a coach would have the stones to poke fun at anyone else, but I guess that's the flagship for you.

Their schedule may get easier but the UGA team we played is finished at 1-3. They could go 8-0 the rest of the way with AJ Green and it wouldn't make me feel like we beat a good team.

...I think the burst of retardation is more due to the fact MSU now actually has a conference win, whereas there is about a 50/50 chance Mississippi will not have a conference win all year.

vs uga that they did against fresno and from what I've seen, uga's offense could use a game vs ole miss to get confidence back

w-l records are deceiving.. uga would beat fresno...

I've said since the summer I expect us to go 6-6, I wasn't saying we were good. I still stand by that prediction too.

The guy's a freshman and he doesn't suck. He's better than Stafford at this point of his freshman season.

By the way, Jacksonville State is 4-0, that should make you feel better. They had to battle to knock off 0-4 Eastern Illinois last night. Tough game.

Frances drebin, please don't bait this fool anymore.

You do realize that if UGA went 8-0 the rest of the way, that would mean that they beat Florida and Auburn, but that wouldn't make you feel like we beat a good team?

I think when he's a redshirt junior and senior, he's going to be very dangerous.

Obviously not a great qb, and (while it's not all Masoli's fault) he actually looked better than Masoli has looked the few times I've seen him play this year.

there's a realistic chance OM only wins 1 of those 4. Because unless somebody really lays down for the Rebs the rest of the teams should beat them badly. I think 5-7 is the best record the Rebs will possibly have at the end of the season.<div>
</div><div>Honestly, I have no reason to think that UK, MSU, UT aren't better than OM right now....but I do think OM could beat them all if everything went well.</div>

after a few games, and his teams get stronger usually. I think 6-6 is still a very real possibility. Hell, we could go full retard and win 8. Not damn likely, but college football is a weird beast. I think it's still too early to know much about any of the teams in the SEC. Aside from the obvious ones. Hell, Newton sprains a knee and Auburn won't win again.

We're luckyhe is on our schedule this year and next year as opposed to his Junior and Senior year.As in if he is this good as a redshirt freshman, we probably don't want to play against him when he is a Junior and Senior.
