saw where Jeremy Johnson was quoted as saying that if Chizk is not the HC on the Plains next year, Ole Miss and LSU would be his top two choices. Thought I remember you (or someone) saying we had a high level of interest from this kid. Are the Bears really going to sign 3 4 star QBs...

The Bears are a white limo, a backward cap, and Pat Dye away from doing things the Auburn way. I see the possibilities.

We may not be really recruiting the kid if our coaches already know that we are going to flip Dobbs. According to Scout.com's database, both QBs are 4****, but Dobbs is ranked 17th in the country and Johnson is ranked 23. Furthermore, I just watched the video of both prospects, and, while Johnson is a physical specimen, he is also very awkward when running and throwing. Reminds me of how Relf threw the ball. Kinda pushes it without much velocity. Dobbs on the other hand, has a very "live" and fluid arm, much like Russell, but runs much better than Russell. Dobbs looks like a better QB to me. Johnson may have a little higher ceiling than Dobbs if everything were to go right, but Dobbs is a much surer thing to from what I can see on video.

Who is the Dobbs kid that you speak of? I'm not familiar with the name.

There is a general feeling that we will flip him after the season. It seems as though we had our choice between him and Cord, and we choose Cord. However, now that Cord may be going to play pro baseball, it seems like a real possibility Dobbs would be willing to come. We could also get both on campus because they compliment each other pretty well.

Did he and Money Mike Henig both take their Scout photos in 4th grade? Glad he's a foot and a half taller than Henig, and from all reports he is a good looking prospect.
