Just skimming the comments...I have never seen so much piss and vinegar over cowbells.

What's the penalty this year if we don't respect the bell? Fines, banned bells altogether? 3 strike rule of some sort with each strike carrying a higher fine?
I'm sure Lester will moan about it enough post-game that we get dinged; no matter what the outcome of the game will be.

Shouldn't LSU be used to loud stadiums? And cowbells sure as hell haven't really helped us much against them in the past.
Yeah, but LSU just lost the game to Georgia and they can't afford to lose another one. They're ticked at the moment.

As a student at the time, my ears were literally ringing after the game for a long time from being in that student section with every damn student shaking their cowbells as loud as they could the whole game. For not being that good that year, it was a fun season.
This Florida game was the loudest gamer I've ever been to, with ARK the Gator Bowl year being a close second. I hear Kentucky a couple years ago on Thursday night was really loud too. I was unable to witness that one.
