I wish someone could give us all the details of that Lebby hire. That was a terrible hire and one that leaves me the impression that Selmon didn't take that search as seriously as he should have.

I would say that hire was probably about as good as we could expect. Not many successful coaches beating down the door to get to State. I was against the hire of Lebby but I was thinking Chadwell or Kinne. Neither of them are killing it anymore so who wanted the job that was better ?? If he won't fix this defense I guess we will find out who in 2027

I would say Odom. Odom would have brought most of his staff which included a DC.

I know y'all will point to Purdue. But State has more resources than Purdue. I'm not sold his results there equal his results here. I do believe Odom could win at least one conference game in two years here.
