...haven't seen your thoughts on the game, and do you still think Relf should get the majority of the snaps? Just curious.
we don't have enough pure athletes on the team to be letting someone with Relf's size and ability to sit on the bench. we need him in the game. i don't care if we put them both back there. yeah it would be retarded but not much more retarded than lee not being able to see downfield.Relf is a good athlete, we need him on the field, if he can't be quarterback, make him a tight end or something, but put him out there to help us.
although i agree he needs to be on the field as much as possible in some capacity i don't think he would have done much better than lee. i do think he scores that damn TD though.Am I really supposed to believe Relf would have been 6 for 38, 77 yards and 6 picks?
and you think the performances would be about equal, why wouldn't you go with the guy who actually looks like a college football player? What is that Lee is bringing us that makes him so much better? His stats are terrible. What am I missing?i don't think he would have done much better than lee
Exactly, it drove me crazy to see Relf come in the game and hand it off 2 plays in a row. It just brings more defenders in the box and we end up in 3rd and long with an a QB who lacks accuracy. At least teams have to respect our passing game a little with Lee in the game.
Relf was hurt.Shmuley said:but to assume Relf's lack of grey matter is the reason his prototypical bruiser physique is watching. It appears that 90% of the playbook disappears when his *** is in there.
Still, there's no reason why he shouldn't be in there on 3rd and 4th down.
Did you see the pick 6 vs Auburn?his passing can't be that much worse.
I think Relf will be buried down the depth chart next year. If we get Newton, it will be Newton, Russell, and Stegal. If we dont' get Newton, it will be Russell, Stegal, Relf.HD6 said:South Panola Dawg brought up on Bulldawg Junction. What's our plan if Cam Newton doesn't come here? It's Relf and Russell next year. So we'll have two quarterbacks who have never started going for us.
Bottom line, Lee was 15 for 38, 172 yards and 3 picks. Good Lord, how much worse could it have been? Am I really supposed to believe Relf would have been 6 for 38, 77 yards and 6 picks?
