If they lose out of the playoffs life will still go on. I use to be hammered on Friday nights and listen to the broadcast on kicks. It is better time spent going to a football game in my opinion. My senior year of high school I went to Haines City High School in central Florida. That year our team won games it seemed they shouldn't have and made it to the state championship game in Florida gator stadiums. One of our guys took the opening kickoff and ran it back for a td. The ref said he was down at the one yard line. Kind of strange to see a player fall near the goal post in the center of the field and it called down at the one. He ran all the way through the end zone. Anyway, I don't have a tin foil hat or anything going on here. Bad calls happen. The really bad thing was on the very next play our running back fumbles going in and the dang ball rolls out of the back of the end zone. After that our boys got killed(no literally). It may not have changed the outcome of the game. They beat us 41-7. That game hurt bad. I was friends with just about every player on the team. I moved to Lenoir near the end of 1992 and lived near Hibriten and gained interest in them. Followed them ever since. Never went to many games. I remember that
Ferguson kid. He was something. He had over 4k rushing yards in his career and to my knowledge that is still the most. Anyhow, I have always enjoyed high school football. Way more pure then college and now with the kneeling garbage I refuse to watch an NFL game. I try to support the kids and I know they love to hear fans cheer so I go and do my best to help give them the screaming fan edge
