This was an overall well officiated game. The refs were invisible for the most part and just let the kids play. This crew should advance and referee a final four game.

Well, he didn't have to make that call. I hate to see a season come down to a call like that. He could've called him for reaching over the line before the foul. Could've easily called that a delay of game, marked it in the book, and went on with the game. The kid reached over the line multiple times before he committed the foul. As an official, why not just put air in the whistle, stop the game, put the delay in the book and play on. Thats what I wouldve done myself.

I wouldn’t want Higgins to ref another game of ours,but the officiating in my opinion was pretty good.

Seems to me they are just making up rules as they go. It’s BS that could not be reviewed. Under two minutes, a question about who the ball is out of bounds on. But in this instance, sorry, not reviewable. Either need more reviews or much better refs.

Fair enough. BUT I'm honest enough to admit if it was UK and the call went our way I'd be happy. Had no dog in the fight. Great game.

Nothing would surprise me, but doubt he’s flying from anaheim ca to dc tonight. my guess is he’ll be heading to minnysoda.
