they were trying a fake punt and well, I am honestly not even sure how to explain. It is the worst play I have ever seen in football. No joke. This will be made fun of forever.

We did something similar on the opening play when we hosted Miami years ago under Shea or Graber. We were something like 30 point underdogs, and we lined up in an off-balance weird formation to throw off their defense. I think that it worked, and we ended up with a nice gain. Of course, everything went downhill after that.

sometimes we line up in a weird extra point formation, then shift to the standard formation.... there must be a trick play
waiting to be done, somewhere, sometime.

The ball should've never been snapped...I don't think Pagano ever thought about calling a time out because he never expected for the ball to snapped.

That was worse than leaving the punt return team in against West Virginia's offense in order "to see what would happen."

Have to figure the idea was to move around so much that it pulled a Patriot offside, if just for a second, when the "center" would snap the ball. But without them going offside, no snap was supposed to occur.

Can't believe the final was that close. Really seemed like Luck was very limited in his passing ability and that the Pats way outplayed them.

Anyone see this play last night? I thought "leaping" is a penalty?

You can't jump onto another player to leap off of...that guy just hurdled into the backfield unassisted

Those people are supposed to be professionals, right?

I cringe at the thought of how this board would react if our team did something that f'd up. Lol

Pagano, who is an idiot to begin with, should have been fired for that 4th down play alone...
