enough but his supporters and inner circle were even scarier. On the bright side my Madison county real estate should see a nice jump in value.

now crime can comfortably exist in Hinds county and not have to branch out. Madison and Rankin need to be vigilant and keep good law enforcement folks though.

Crime has been moving into Madison and Rankin county for the last few years. Criminals have no boundaries. Ridgeland has seen the move of "the population" and Madison is stuck between Canton and Ridgeland. Pretty soon MRA will have to expand to handle all of the new students. It's just a matter of time. Maybe if you live in a gated compound on a section of land you will be immune from crime, but otherwise it is here to stay. I am proud to call Jackson my Home, protected by Glock, Ruger, and Remmington.

I think Madison's long-term prospects are pretty good, even stuck between Canton and Ridgeland. With no apartments and the 1,800 sq ft minimum on new houses, it's going to be hard for Madison to be overrun. There'll be some crime that will filter in, but I think it should be pretty well controlled for a long time.

and how the crime just spread to the richer areas because...that's where the money and all the toys money buys are located. Even dumb thieves don't want what a granny with 3 grandchildren living with her owns. Also, some of those rich people feel isolated and protected just because they live in those neighborhoods. They're easy targets.
It's truly a shame this is going on down there.

values of an area. We have fought hard in the Gluckstadt area to keep things at 1800sq. ft. for years but have been beaten down to 1600 by developers and our dysfunctional board of supervisors in the past two years. We have a lawsuit in place against a developer right now who is trying to reneg on his 1600ft. agreement and go to 1400ft with 700 houses. I hope the new board of supervisors in Madison county will improve the situation but I am not optimistic at this point. Fortunately, Elvis has left the building and he got his *** kicked by Dick Hall so there is some justice in the world.

..what gets me is the way this board always praises a craphole like Starkville, yet constantly bashes a nice city like Jackson.

If you don't like Hinds county & Jackson, them move the fock out.

It's a free country. Get crackin'.
